Hey everyone! I’m so excited that we’re about to start this wonderful list of 144 things that you should do…. (fill in the blank, such as: before you die, when you have enough money, before you have your mid-life crisis, etc.) according to 8 millennials!

Wait, so what is a millennial?

Actually, we’re pretty special. According to Wikipedia, we are “a cohort of individuals born from 1980 to 1999, who grew up in the 1990’s and 2000’s.” The New York Times loves us, giving us a plug from a prominent op-ed contributer, and there is even an About.com article telling people how to manage us in the workforce! Mostly though, people want to know what we like and what makes us tick.

I thought up the 144 things to do before you die idea simply so we could show the world things that we’re interested in, and perhaps give you a window into our souls, so to speak. Are we really all just yearning to be Paris Hilton’s new BFF, or do we actually care about world issues? Will our list be full of dive bars and fast cars, or will it include thoughtful and interesting things the average person can do? To address you as Stephen Colbert does (one of Gen Y’s messiahs, didn’t ya know?) … stay tuned, nation.
